MORRIS – The man killed Thursday along Interstate 80 has been identified. Grundy County Coroner John W. Callahan stated that 27 year old Jacob Perry of Morris died after being struck by a semi-tractor trailer. According to authorities Perry stopped his vehicle for unknown reasons along the shoulder and then ran across lanes of traffic. He was pronounced dead at the scene near Brisbin Road East of Morris. The incident is still under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the Grundy County Coroner’s Office.
