OTTAWA — Several apartments were damaged in a fire in Ottawa yesterday. Ottawa Fire officials say they were called out to an apartment building in the 700-block of Webster Street around 3 PM. Officials say upon arrival, heavy fire was seen coming out of a second floor balcony. Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in the second floor apartment, which started in a kitchen. Several of the neighboring apartments received heavy smoke damage and no injuries were reported. Officials estimate damage at $30,000.
