STREATOR – Streator’s city attorney and respective firm will be holding a seminar at Illinois Valley Community College on Thursday at 8 a.m. Attorney Cheryl Churney says her firm Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins were asked to provide an educational presentation on topics like recent legislations to minimum wage and Gov. Pritzker’s plan to legalize marijuana. Open meetings act, board policies and procedures will also be included in discussions. The seminar is a part of North Central Illinois Council of Government’s semi annual meeting.
