Cocaine and Pills Found in Sublette Raid Monday

SUBLETTE – Three have been arrested after a raid by the Lee County Joint Operations Group in Sublette on Monday. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Operations Group along with the Dixon Police Department and Lee County Deputies executed a search warrant on a residence in the 200 block of John Street. During the search, over 29 grams of purported cocaine and 35 pills what authorities claim were Xanax were allegedly found. Taken into custody was 36 year-old Hank T. Nickel of Sublette for possession of a controlled substance, 20 year-old Christopher Donte Moore-Bennett for possession and unlawful delivery of cannabis, and a Carol Stream man, 18 year-old Antonio DeAndre Simmons for possession of a controlled substance. They were taken to the Lee County Jail. The investigation is still ongoing with the Lee County Joint Operations Group.
