PERU – A marijuana dispensary could be coming to Peru. City council members discussed the potential cannabis project that developers are requesting special use for on 38th street, where the old Jimmy John’s was located. Officials say they are to meet and discuss with the petitioner on the following plans. Some Peru council members are concerned about the location and traffic that the dispensary could draw. All issues are to be discussed at their next planning and zoning meeting at the end of the month.
