Joe hails from the Nations Capital, Washington DC. It was while at college he decided radio was his calling. His first radio job was at Oldies 100 in Washington DC, working in promotions. He moved from promotions to producer for Goldy’s Rock n’ Roll show. After four years, Joe moved to the green mountain state of Vermont and Classic Rock 101, The Fox, which gave him his own show. He then moved on to a radio job Cedar Rapids, Iowa before returning to DC. In fact, he was back in DC contemplating his retirement from radio when he got a call from The Radio Group. Joe worked afternoons on sister station WALLS 102 before joining The Morning Show on WGLC.

Shannon Stone started her radio career in her hometown of Denver, Colorado at Top 40 KS104. She got the “programming bug” from watching veteran leaders create exciting, fun radio and has had the opportunity to program Classic Rocker KYJT in Arizona and the legendary Country station KKCS in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Jo Jo Turnbeaugh loves living in the West and being outdoors!! Born and raised in Radio (Jo Jo started on the air when he was 11 because his folks were in the business) and calls Northern California home. He loves sports, especially the Broncos, golf, NASCAR and ANYTHING that has to do with fishing. Married to Mary and has 2 great kids, Penny and Brody and 2 four legged kids Gigi and Dash. Cathy Taylor is a Florida native that is a true blue fan of the Tampa Bay Rays. She is not a girl who will sit down for long unless she can find a good book. Cathy loves outdoor sports including skiing, hiking, tennis and mountain biking. She started her broadcasting career in Florida and has hosted shows on WTBT classic rock Tampa and WOLZ AC in FT. Myers. Morning news credentials were added in Denver for a local cluster of radio stations. She is the newest member of the True Country team taking on the evenings from 8pm-1am EST.

Dave has been in the broadcasting industry for over a decade. He got his start spinning an "anything goes" overnight music show at his college campus' radio station. Since then, he has worked as a reporter, news director and program director. He is very passionate about developing and nurturing strong news maker relationships. It's his goal to pass along important and empowering information, paint a picture of a top story and provide timely weather information. He and his wife, Julie, have three sons and twin daughters. In their spare time, they are active in church and enjoy road trips, reading, watching movies and playing in several of the area's wonderful parks.
T.J. Carson hails from Lacon. He graduated from Midland High School in Varna in 2002 and Western Illinois University in Macomb in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in broadcasting. He taught briefly before joining The Radio Group as News Director at WSPL. His wife, Jen, is the creator of her very own Web comic.
Colin joins The Radio Group News Team from AM 1050 WLIP and 95 WIIL Rock, and now calls Streator home. A native of Cary, Illinois, Colin graduated from the University of Kansas, with a degree in broadcast communications, and the Illinois Center for Broadcasting. The middle of three children, Colin spends his spare time working out and playing various sports. He is also a pop culture junkie and can recite lines from the entire Ghost Busters movie.
